Reading a recipe book in the kitchen. But this is not just any recipe book -- this is The Congressional Club Cook Book circa 1961. Okay, so maybe I only bought it because it has a donkey and an elephant baking a cake shaped like the Capitol dome on the cover. But I'm going to be making LBJ's chili and Senator Margaret Chase Smith's (Dirksen's Republican colleague) blueberry muffins in no time!
