131st Day


Despite the fact that we practically walked our feet off, Hope and I spent a beautiful October Saturday strolling along the edge of the city (almost all eight miles from my apartment to downtown).

    We almost made it! And for your information, my mom almost didn't let me in the house tonight because my feet were so dirty!

    Not the whole eight miles, but yes, there were extended periods of barefootedness.

    Only a few. But flip flops and flats are not conducive to comfortable walking. And if we hadn't walked north so far I think we could have made it.
