Day 164
How had I not noticed the fiery red leaves on this plant outside my apartment? How long have they been like this? Just an example of how observant I am. But alas, I noticed them today and was able to enjoy them for a few moments.
Yeah, yeah, I know. I think I noticed them because all the leaves fell off the trees outside my apartment, and the bright pink flowers are now dead. So this shrubbery is the only surviving source of color.
Sherlock Holmes would be disappointed.
